Langkawi was a lush mountainous island off Malaysia. We arrived here from Thailand via ferry. The ferry was a short ride and surprisingly quite smooth. Luckily we shopped around and managed to find a really nice hotel room, made the most of the luxury, after staying in a dodgy town called Trang.

We enjoyed a steep cable car ride, 800m high, even Steven looked nervous. It also had an amazing curved bridge linking the hill tops. Hired a car and drove round the island, found pretty beaches.
