Hello all,

had busy day today, steph has had to walk all the way to the tram stop, round hongkong park and up the peak..the rest of us just got on with it!! park was so peacful and relaxing, felt like breaking into some tai chi ourselves but settled for watching the turtles with ipods instead!

finding our way around now, not so far of being locals except we still get funny looks and a few stares..maybe because everyone else is in trousers and jackets and we stride out in shorts and vests but it is really warm, all caught a bit of the sun today actually.

the view off the top of the peak was spectacular, not too smoggy and hopefully we have some really good snaps to bore you with when back unless we upload them first.

mastered the local transport and got a bus yesterday to Stanley..had an ice cream an came back, we are very impressed with our little mini adventures though as it was quite scary when first venturing out.

experimented with the food, jury is out! todays dinner was a really good...yesterday-not so much. mistakenly got this white jelly stuff in a sauce on rice that we thought was chicken, it really wasn't..didn't try it! nearly getting bored with rice or noodles with something so went for a burger tonight, we would have tried but we were just too tired from our day being tourists!

going back for cards and beer now, night life not up to much here, not seen any pubs near where we are and we're not really dressed for it.

as we said before, 'wi-fi facilities' are not great here, there is a computer in a box room which is the slowest thing ever and usually dominated by germans!
