We arrived at our site for the Saturday's stage of the tour de France about 10 am and set about settling in for a day or so. first thing was to get some washing done, this we have to do in a plastic box, handwashing everything takes time but we have worked out a routine and Ewout is very good at rinsing and squeezing out the water. July 9th 2010 Written on the side of the road near Viry; close to St Claude near the Swiss border. It has been a busy few days, driving through the countryside and following the Tour de France. The scenery is very beautiful; we have driven through forested hills, cultivated farmland, crops high and ready to harvest.
