Well we finally picked up the camper from the garage late yesterday after having it checked and a new tyre fitted. We had planned to go on a short trip for a few days but when we tried to turn on the fridge with the gas it didn't want to start. So.... now we have a camper all kitted out and we have to get the fridge going. Martin and Ewout have pulled it out to see what is wrong but still haven't got any answers. I suppose it is better to have things sorted here ...

The weather the last couple of days has been rather nice, yesterday it was even 20o and sunny. The daffodils are everywhere and spectacular in large drifts on the road verges and parks and gardens. They look so cheerful with their sunny yellow and I just want to go and pick bunches of them to spread through the house. We have planned to go to the market in Dordrecht this afternoon, We will have to ride our bikes over there but it's rather cool today and may rain...

It's been a week since we have arrived here in Holland. We have bought our camper but still have not picked it up yet. We are waiting for a phone call from the dealer to say it ready. This morning we went for a drive to a large camping outlet near Rotterdam. They were having a sale so we thought we should go for a look. Jenny drove as she needs to get some experience before we hit the road in a large Camper. We arrived there safely and found it was a good time to look as some of the sale prices were good. Today we spent the day looking at Campers, how confusing it can get. We finally have settled on one. It's looks well looked after, has low mileage and plenty of room. We will not be able to take it till next week as they have some things still to do on it. They will put on a bike rack at the back for us and still have some maintenance to be done.
