hey all...... am leavin Rio tomorrow and the weathers not that reat today so just wandering about doing a few bits and pieces.

have loved Rio in the time ive been here..... went up to christ the redeemer which was so beautiful, if not a little busy, and the 360 degree views were fantastic. also went on a hike up a mountain called punta bonita (think that translates to pretty rock), and when we got to the top we were the only ones up there and the view to coast was so clear. Also got to go to santa teresa, which is the kind of artisan bohemian part of rio and i loved it there, much prefered it to copacobana or ipanema.

have spent the rest of the days looking round the markets and lying on the beach body watching lol!! and of course the caipirinhas..... yum am addicted to those!

on friday night i went to a district called lapa with some of the guys from the hostel. Was like a crazy big street party with music, dancing and alcohol on the streets. drank way too much but had a great night, from what i can remember any way! also met a girl who lives in buenos aires and will be meetin up with her when i get there.....
