Los Angeles Take 2

I was originally supposed to leave America on 31st July, however my budget wasn't doing terribly well so i moved the flight up to the 17th instead. As a result i had very little cash to spare so my choice of hostel in LA reflected that. I stayed in the cheapest one i could find and as a result it was miles away from anything, except the airport, which is what i needed. It was perfect for what i needed as it offered free airport transfers, a bit of free food and had a swimming pool!

I met some people who were working there and basically just chilled for the four days i had left. I wanted to see a bit more of LA so one day i headed in to see Hollywood Boulevard. I wasn't overly taken with it to be honest! It's tricky to get a real sense of LA without a car, i'm sure there's a lot more to it but the metro is really expensive and it takes hours to get from one place to the next as it is all so spread out! I looked around Hollywood boulevard for an hour or so and then headed back to the hostel.

All in all it wasn't the most exciting four days but it did enable me to get everything sorted for my flights and accommodation in Fiji. I couldn't wait for a more of a laid back time there!
