Badou - A hike through the forest to Aklao Falls with Ortencia's friend Komi brought me to this gorgeous waterfall. This was AFTER the dehydration incidents, so hiking was not a problem. The air at the falls was incredibly cool and refreshing. Our guide (you have to have a local guide accompany you) went off to search for fallen monkeys and antelope here. Apparently, every once in a while one of them will fall down and land (dead) in the pool. No, I did not go swimming... what with parasites, worms, and falling monkeys and antelopes, I thought I'd better just admire the falls while dry.
