Went had look around town and in some opal shops, went into the underground church. There was a festival on today and they had a parade through the streets. They also had activities on the oval, one was holding up a 3 kg bag of opals up both frank and I enter, didn't do very well though lol. Going out for tea in an underground restaurant, quiet warm up here today. Will go opal mining tomorrow in the morning when it is a bit cooler. Entertainment $40

Got up early and pack up to move onto Coober pedy. Got there about 1:00, had to empty toilet and fill up with water, which cost 20 cents for 30 litres( lucky we have heaps of those lol) then got set up in caravan park, first thing was a proper shower lol( which cost another 20 cents for 4 min which I used 2x 20 cents lol) great caravan park right in town, so not far to walk. Staying here for 2 nights then heading to cooper pedy, where we have booked into a caravan park for 4 nights. Didn't know whether we would get any where being Easter but meet some people who told us the caravan park had a deal over Easter were you could stay for 4 nights for $100 and there is the gem show on, carnival and festival.

Left the van at Peterborough and went for a drive site seeing, and what a drive it was over 500 km we are stuffed now.
