Went to the only underground porkies in the world last night, didn't win anything but had a good night with Greg and sue from Tasmania . Have had a quiet day done some washing and packed up dome of the van for tomorrow's road trip. Went and done some more fossicking for opals found a few don't know if we will be rich though lol. Went out looking for opals today spent 2 hours in the hot sun and got nothing but little scrap pieces. Also went had a look at the church out of town that was better than the one we saw the other day. After lunch went on a mine tour, could have got a job, but because of the rain would have to wait a month, maybe next time. Supplies $60

Went had look around town and in some opal shops, went into the underground church. There was a festival on today and they had a parade through the streets. They also had activities on the oval, one was holding up a 3 kg bag of opals up both frank and I enter, didn't do very well though lol. Going out for tea in an underground restaurant, quiet warm up here today. Will go opal mining tomorrow in the morning when it is a bit cooler. Entertainment $40

Got up early and pack up to move onto Coober pedy. Got there about 1:00, had to empty toilet and fill up with water, which cost 20 cents for 30 litres( lucky we have heaps of those lol) then got set up in caravan park, first thing was a proper shower lol( which cost another 20 cents for 4 min which I used 2x 20 cents lol) great caravan park right in town, so not far to walk.
