Made it to Alice Springs today are staying at g"day mate caravan park. Set the van up, had a shower and went and did some shopping, anybody would have thought we had never seen the shops before lol. Left the van at curtain springs and went to Uluru , got up early went the Kata Tjuta first and went for a hike onto the gorge, it was all rock under foot and windy but nice and peaceful when you reach the gorge. Then drove to Uluru, was going to do the climb but it would have taken 3 hours do just went some of the way up. Very large rock up close lol. Haven't had phone service for 3 days. Left the van and went for a drive to King Canyon, nice place with a gorge and lots of red rocks. Would be nice to see it with water running through it, but to dry at have moment, tomorrow going up to the rock, the only trouble is every where you go is along drive. Left Kulgera roadhouse early this morning, the front photo is 120 km from the rock. Heading to Curtin Springs about 50 km from rock , staying there a few nights, no phone reception since getting over border, just a little here and there, so you might be getting these blogs late.
