Yay Koh Phagnan is our first Thai island! Is pretty crazy here I tell you! We arrived here from Bangkok after a million hour bus ride.We then took the ferry over to the island and were greeted by lovely white snads and crystal clear waters! After taking the ferry with about 200 other backpackers we got a taxi to Hat Rinn...

Hat Rinn is great, its full of funky bars, shops and restaurants and the place had a great buzz as it was the run up to the full moon party! We checked into a rather lovely hotel which was pretty expensive as it was peak time or should I say rip off time before the Full Mooner! Anyway the place was cool as it had a pool (a luxury when you are on a travel budget!!!).That afternoon we quickly made friends with some other English girls and some crazy dudes from Israel who tried (but didnt suceed) to get us drink in the pool!

The thing to be seen with in Hat Rinn has to be a bucket full of alcohol.Here they sell you a bucket of vodka and coke or whatever spirit you want to consume for a few English pounds! Is a great idea and certainly does the job! My only request was that I had to have a pink bucket....

The full moon party was CRAZY! Never seen anything quite like it!!! All the bars along the beach were pumping out different tunes, the beach was packed with around 10,000 people and there was drink flying all over the place! Everyone was covered in this illuminous paint and there was glow in the dark glasses and bangles to buy if you really wanted to be a raver! We began the night quite late as we wanted to get through to sunrise, 1 or 2 buckets later we were dancing like crazy chicks.... around 5am came back and went in the hotel pool....totally missed the run rise but had a wicked night!!

The next few days were spent chilling on the beach and doing some jet sking!!!
