G'day people! We have made it to Melbourne after our mammouth journey along the Great Ocean Road.After Alice Springs we flew to Adelaide, & Qantas looked after us very well again!! When we got off of the plane & into the airport our bags were already out on the conveyor belt.. And picking up the car was hassle free..... and from here is where we started the road trip.Adelaide is such a contrast from Ayers Rock... I thought Adelaide was very much like home...

Just a quick update. We are now in Alice Springs, after a short 30 minute flight from Ayers Rock... I didnt even have chance to finish my sudoku!!! There isnt much happening here in Alice Springs, it looks pretty dull and uneventful, but there is definatley a bigger and more pleasant Aboriginal population up here! Phew..... must just be a bad bunch in Perth. Anyway, were picking up the car this afternoon in Adelaide, so like i said - it was just a quick upda...

A grand Hello from Uluru!!I absolutely love this place!!Our flight over from Perth was 2 hours and 40 minutes, so its like flying over from England to Spain or something!! crazy, so weve crossed another timezone, so now were 8 & 1/2 hours ahead of you now...Oh i also forgot to mention, On our Roadtrip.... Luke nearly ran over an Emu!! he saw in on the left side of the road, so slowed right down, and as soon as the Emu saw us it slowly strutted across the road...

G'day!!Where to begin... So we left Perth on Thursday & hired a car to drive up the West Coast along the Coral Coast to Kalbarri.... But it all seemed to go wrong from the start..First, I went to the airport to pick up the hire car.... But didnt have my bank card when I got there, so couldnt get the car..and didnt have the money to get the shuttle bus back into the City... So jumped in a taxi & dipped into our cash savings!!
