On Sunday 3rd February we were up and out of the YHA early for our Kangaroo Island trip! We were picked up from the hostel and taken to the Cape Jervis ferry terminal at 7am. The local taxi company took us and two Swiss ladies down to the terminal with the price included in the tour and once at the ferry terminal, we boarded the ferry leaving 9am. After our New Year adventures our last time in Victor Harbor flew over. Our work hours picked up considerably, both working 5-6 days a week and I was still helping out at penguin centre when I could. We have created quite a social life down here and enjoyed many nights out, laughs and drunken times going out most if not all Friday and Saturday nights! After 6 weeks of living in the Port Elliot Beach House YHA we have now moved into Dorothy and Keith's lovely home up in the hills of Victor Harbor. They have took us in under their wings allowing us to live rent free and feeding us some lovely meals, snacks and plenty of alcoholic beverages. Our first day in the our new house in Adelaide we enjoyed the luxury of a nice queen size bed in spacious room with all our stuff unpacked and getting up to go to bathroom instead of squatting or sheweeing behind a bush somewhere!! We had a lovely day in the house a proper jim jam day didn't get dressed at all.
