The long-anticipated day of departure has finally arrived! I leave for L.A. in 3 hours and I have yet to sleep. It appears that won't be happening tonight, as there is still much to do. Noelle and Justin are moving out of their house (where they've been nice enough to put me up for the last 6 months) while I'm away, which means I have to pack up everything I own and bring it to my parent's. Had I started this process before 3 hours ago it might not be so bad, but we make our own beds, right? I won't complain.

As for as my itenary... at this point I have tickets to Hawaii, and from there to Thailand. After that... who knows. The plan is to make it to Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, and South Africa) for sure, but as far as anywhere else we end up... we're down for just about anything. We hope to end up in Europe to fly home early June, but we'll see what happens with our money situation. The key concept to remember is flexibility, so don't hesitate to remind me of that if it seems called for.

There is still much to do so I best get packing! I'll try to keep you posted on my whereabouts when I have to opportunity. Take care and be well!
