Well the flat hunting went well, we're now writing this from our flatmates computer, he's lovely, an Indian guy called Gourav. It was his birthday the other day so we made him a card and brought him a cake which went down well (we didn't think baking one of our cakes would make a great first impression). Job hunting hasn't gone too bad, not quite as well as we'ld have hoped but we've got a few pennies coming in. Bridgey's working as a home help, helping look after elderly clients which is good as everyone so far has been friendly, she also gets to walk a couple of dogs. Jo mean while is working her butt off at two restaurants, one is a japanese restaurant so she's learning how to make sushi, which is great fun.

GT's poorly at the mo, she broke down on us a few times, once on the way to a job trial which wasn't great. Think the radiator has sprouted a leak so we're having to work doubly hard to sort it, but alls well as it keeps us out of mischief and brings some normality to our lives. Everywhere is so close though and the trams here are great so we don't need her right at the moment anyway.

We're still loving Melbourne and on our days off now that our jobs are done we'll hopefully fit in a bit of sight seeing and go to an AFL game with our friends from Bear Gully.  We've made friends with some people from the backpackers we spent sometime at so we'll have to get them around to ours one night, one of them is a chef and cooked us cheescake the other day which was yummy! We've had a couple of random nights out, one included drinking passionpop (aussie Lambrini) on the roof of a carpark and the other salsa dancing with a very unlatino teacher. All fun though.
