Had a touch of the squirts last night (not good on my first day in India!) but fortunately, all cleared up by the start of the course. Have to be super-careful with the water & washing hands!

Room not setup the way I asked but they got it all done by the time people started arriving
Mobile phone dramas: I went to a nearby phone shop. After about 10min of waiting around, they told me they couldn't help & I'd have to go to the Vodafone shop, about 15min walk away. A very nice customer said he was going that way so would show me where it was. I followed him down the street & into the shop. After another 10 minutes, they decided that I needed to have a letter from the hotel, confirming that I'm staying there before they could issue me with a SIM card.
Not sure if this is actually true or required, since it was only 15min before closing time for them. I gave up & went back to the hotel!
Beautiful curry buffet for dinner! OMG ... so good!
