So it's over, we're back home in Liverpool, and it's raining! I can't believe the last six months have gone so quick, and it feels strange to be home. It's back to work soon for me, job-hunting for Sal, and a well-earned retirement for Lamby! We have had an incredible trip, and we realise just how lucky we are to have been able to go 'off exploring'.
Our fantastic next-door neighbours, Lynda and Barrie, who've been looking after the goldfish, and keeping an eye on everything for us, had very kindly left us some provisions, so we unpacked the bags last night, while enjoying great British 'tea and toast', and we'll be visiting Morrisson's for a 'full english', later this morning, mmm!
Thank you for reading about our adventures, and thanks for all the nice comments, we'll be boring everyone soon with the photo's, and if we start a sentence with '...well, when we were in Brazil/Vietnam/Mexico...', you've got permission to say '..yes, I know, I read it on your blog'!
Finally, I'd like to dedicate this blog to our great friend Denise Kelly, who very sadly passed away while we were traveling. Not a day went by without us thinking of her, or, when drinking a particularly potent cocktail, saying '...Denise would've LOVED this!'
