Got woken up at 3am by this cockerel was going off about 3m away from my head so annoying! Managed to get some more sleep and we got up and had our breakfast at 8am, Then waiting around for our driver to come pick us up to take us to the waterfall, Comes to around 11:30 driver shows up he got stuck in the mud which was understandable it did rain a lot, We just hung out all morning did rain all night, Got muff's and Lara's numbers and emails so going to drop them a call when we get to Australia.
Made our way to the waterfall which was about a half hour drive stopped for some lunch at a little stop off area before we walked up to the waterfall, At this point it starts chucking it down such heavy rain so waterproofed up and walked up to this waterfall in a big group, We got to a point where we couldn't get past without getting our feet wet so had to take our boots off, As I was taking my boots off I saw Phil go t*** up crossing a little bit of this waterfall gets wet and looses his water god that was funny. The waterfall wasn't amazing so we pushed on up the mountain to the village we'd be staying in, At this point we parted ways with murph and Lara as they were only doing one day and were flying out of Bangkok the next day so said we'd give them a call when we're in Oz. We met up with another group which joined ours got talking to Patric we both saw he had a bandage around his little finger asked him what happened he laughs and said it was pretty stupid he was adjusting a wall fan then it broke and fell off the wall, As this happened it hit his little finger and tore his nail clean off this was the first time he's left Singapore to go travelling. This hill was a killer steep muddy and hard to walk up was sweating within 10 minutes of walking, 80% up hill today but wasn't as long as yesterday where we walked for thee hours today was only two hours if that.
Wasn't to bad as we had a much fast group was me Phil Irene Patrick Georgina and two Korean girls, Was a good day of walking got up to the village such amazing views of the mountains, Got showered and hug out at the house Kept getting pestered for massages said no at least 7 times would get one when I finished trekking not halfway through. Got our meal around six which was amazing really filling just sat around in a circle eating and talking, A bit later after dinner all the children from the village came up and asked if we wanted them to sing them a few songs for a small contribution, We all thought yeah alright help the kids out as this place is right in the middle of nowhere, They were entertaining there was one little kid that was just running around playing as they all sang. Then we all hungout round the fire for a few hours before bed.
