So it's our last day in Vientiane but pretty much done everything there is to do here so Phil went to the park to read his book while I stayed at the hotel to sort some stuff out on my laptop.
Got to around lunchtime still not really anything going on, Grabbed some food and read some manga.
Went up to the room to lay down for a bit crashed out for an hour or so Phil said before that he'd be going back to the park to read, I got up and went out for a walk around town.

Came back and listened to some tunes then Phil comes back and we grab a bite to eat down in the lobby. So we wanted to check our this beer drinking contest that happens every Wednesday because we wanted in on it, So had ourself's a warm up beer then went over.

We were the first to go over to the table and we felt pretty confident but that was cut short when we saw Three massive guys walking over to the table, We both looked at each other and were like.... f***, They were from Finland really nice chaps, So the guy explains the rules to us which were as follows -
Drink 1Litre of beer as fast as you can through a straw first to finish Wins.
We start drinking I was about just over a third down when I glacé over to palo the 6,4F guy he'd necked almost all of his litre he was an inch away from finishing when he stopped and ran to the bath room! Carried on was about a pint away from finishing when his friend finished, Game over but we got a free litre of beer and a free T-shirt.

Finished our beer back at the bar and ordered one more litre of beer to settle the other beer. Then got chatting to Paulo for an hour or so really great guy before we parted was he said if we ever needed a place to stay in Finland give his a shout, Best time to come in the winter can come play some ice hockey and snowboarding. Then chatted to one of his friends this was the chap that Won so grabbed his name as well.

Next we started talking to Joe an American who'd been living in China for ten year and moved to Lao two years ago, Talked to him about where to hit up when we get to the States good few locations jotted down. Short stroll back and sleep.
