And, we're off! Thanks to a frantic day yesterday there was surprisingly little to do this morning (other than running a few errands). The best, and most fun, part of our morning was a quick visit to St. Luke's East Hospital this morning to visit our friends James & Jodi Light and their newest addition, Ezra Robert Light! Congrats to them...we were so happy to have met the little guy before leaving on our trip.
Thanks to the help of another friend we arrived at the airport around 11:20am and just sat down after clearing security. From here it's a flight to Denver, then Iceland(!), then Munich. Also, we're proud to announce that our checked bag only weighed 38.5 lbs! Here's to light packing and a long voyage ahead of us! Thanks for following our travels, and know that we'll miss you all!
