This is just the group email i sent out so it maybe a repeat for some people. we will be updating the photos in a day or so. keep your eyes out for that :) the latest is a slipped in the shower and split my lip open on the inside :) fun times for jess :) hope your all well, take care and keep in contact :) jess and marcus hey everyone, so i am guessing when the last time was that i sent a group email so sorry if i repeat myself at all :) we visited florence after about 10 hours of walking around Rome for 2 days and florence was so dead and had NO night life at all but we came across 2 Americas while seeing the fantastic statue of David and had a great chat for about an hour while we all looked at David's ass :) the americans Brian and cant remember the girls name :) came to our camp site for some drinks that night with 2 girls from holland that were staying at our camp site with us so we all had a great laugh that night, of cause some alcohol was involved but i retired early as i was still sick from partying in the Greek Islands while marcus went off with them to find a club which just dosent exist in Florence so he came home, jumped the fence to get into the camp site and ripped his favourite shorts :) next was venice :) the gondala's were gorgeous but we didnt get a chance to go on one so instead we stuffed our faces with some great Italian food. we had pizza as a starter, then some great home made chocolate and finished it off with a Gellato. yum yum. i think i put on 3 kilos that day :) lucky for us there was a band playing one night at our camp site in venice so we filled up our juice bottles with a bit (a lot) of vodka and sung the night away to an Italian Band playing English rock songs. they played sweet home alabama twice that night and marcus and i screamed our lungs out to it both times :) ended up in the night club till about 2am until the alcohol run out and we started to sober up to realise there were so many random freaky looking people around us grinding all up on each other and when they started to look at us and come in for the kill we decided that was our cue to end the night :) so got our washing out of the dryer on the way back to our glorious tent :) and i thought what the hell it will be easier to get INTO the dryer to get the clothes out :) so now you know what the hell that photo is on our website :) Milan was our next stop and yet again we were disappointed :( our hostel was pretty cool though yet it was single sex dorms so marcus and i slept apart for the first time in about 6 weeks :) it felt weird as we have just come accustomed to sleeping in the same room now. i had some great female in my room who all couldnt speak english so that was an eventful night for me NOT. marcus met a guy from Sydney in Leichhardt which is amazing but he is Italian and has been to Italy a few times so we were lucky enough to have him as a tour guide for a few hours the next day to see the little amount that milan has to offer since there seemed to be little to do in Milan marcus and i ventured this massive swimming pool near our hostel for the day to work a little more on our greek island tans :) we pay our 5 euro to get in and as soon as we dive in the pool we get screamed at by the life guard to get out. i though at first she thought we might not be able to swim but then we started to look around to find out that EVERYONE in the pool is wearing a swimming cap :) funny as. you were not allowed in the pool unless you were wearing one so we spent the rest of the day jumping in for a dip when the lifeguards werent looking and getting out before the noticed :) me a great american girl also called jess and 2 aussie guys from sydney who were really nice but this was the day we were leaving milan so those friendships were very short lived yet the aussie guys might meet up with us in spain or portugal as we seem to be going in the same direction as them at the moment. Cinque Terra followed on from Milan. we stayed at a really nice and really clean hostel which was great and guess what they had a dvd player so that just made my day after about 7 hours of travelling. you all know how much i love my moives and tv. it is so my way of relaxing. the day we walked through the 5 towns of Cinque Terra was amazing, well we only made it to the 4th one. marcus wanted to keep going but i was being a girl and wanted to stop after 4 hours of wallking. met an america couple who we did the walk with so that was great for marcus and i to have someone new to talk to :) well now we are in Barcelona after a 30 minute bus trip, run to the train station to to miss our train, get on the internet to change our flight, wait 3 hours for the next train, travel on the train for 3 hours, met a great australian lady who spoke both english and italian so took me to the emergency area of the train station to get a script for antibiotics as i was just not getting any better from my crazy life in the greek islands. got a hour bus trip to the airport to wait 6 hours for our flight. arrived at 1am for another 30 minutes on a bus to our hostel to find out check in finished at eleven yet for some reason lucky us someone let us in at 2 am and we just found some empty beds and crashed out to wake up to the owners screaming at us to find out if we had a booking or not :) so that wasnt our best day travelling so far :( we were hoping to go to Ibiza yet it is just to expensive :( off to valencia next :) cant wait to hear from you guys back home and all my mates that i have made along my travels :) keep in touch and stay safe. jess :)
