Greetings, Kaikoura is awsome - a haven for all things aquatic. Giants sperm whales were seen, dusky dolpins enjoyed the pleasure of our company on a fine morning swim, wandering allbatross swooped by, seal pups bleated away and crayfish were eaten. All in all a good couple of days - swimming with dolphins lived up to the hype. Next on the itinery... Christchurch and campervans! xxxx

Hello one and all from bigdayout, New Zealand's one and only music festival. Bands to grace the Southern Hemisphere for this momentous occasion were: The Magic Numbers (as always beautiful folk music on a sunny afternoon from this cheery foursome which never fail to disappoint), Franz Ferdinand (great marching up & down the stage), and The White Stripes (that man can wear a hat). Greetings from Wellington, Currently home for dave, alma and jb. We've all been residing in our city centre flat for about a month now and are soon to be visited by Benj. Nice place but suprisingly quiet for a capital city, giving us a chance to take in the culture, great architecture and overly patriotic hate towards the aussies and keen interest in all things kiwi. Mikey and JB have just arrived in the City of Sails - Auckland (and oh my God I can't believe it ..i've never been this far away from home..), while big David is jetting his way to Wellington (Benj is chillin' out back in the gulf of Thailand) New Zealand will be home for the three of us for the next few months as we try to earn back some of the dollar we have rightly been spending so well thus far.
