BRAZIL! AHHHHHHHH I´m going to learn portuguese just as an excuse to come and travel here (learning spanish was just an excuse for 6 months in Argentina!)...wow it felt strange being there, different language, famous and loved country. If I only I could travel around it more...it´s like 3 times the size of ARgentina. Granted it´s mainly rivers, jungles etc... it´s got some amazing places.

We went to Foz do Iguacu, a border town, mainly based on tourism for the Iguazu falls (which sits half in Brazil, half in Argentina).

So we had lunch in this mad, massive all you can eat (American style) restaurant, with all this Brazilian food, which I still don´t even know what it was! It was good though, lots of meat, spicey salads, cakes, fruit...! Nice. It was very strange not knowing the local language, and going to say gracias, and then having doubts and feeling stupid. I managed to fool some brazilians I was from Argentina too!

We then went on to the Brazilian Iguacu national park, which was beautiful! Jungle! Jungle! Jungle! Insect noises, tropical birds...blah blah blah all that! It was amazing, again. I could never tire of the jungle.

So the water falls again. Well we walked over the plataforms stretching out onto the river (Río Paraná, an estuary of the amazon). Got soaked but the water falls. Just beautiful. Rainbows, blue skies, jungle, power ful and loud water. Amazing. We then went and did some rock climbing in the jungle, which was hard work, but worth it to climb through the trees.

After that, it was time to return to ARgentina (which now feels like home!!!). Brazil, a warning for ya: I´m coming back!
