we were so glad to each koh samui after a 12 hr bus journey, which 2 hrs waiting before getting another bus to the ferry port, to then reach the isand via boat which took another 2hours!! we are currently staying in bo phut, which is slightly quieter than chanweng and la mai. however the island is fairly small and we are only 20mins away from more beaches and nightlife. yesterday we rented a jeep for the day ( my mum almost had a heart attack). it was great fun. luckily thai's drive on the same side of the road as us,and the jeep was rather like driving henry the madza i once had, think anyone remembers. adele drove first then i drove back at night. unfortunately 5mins down the road from hiring our little jeep, the heavens opened and samui had a tropical storm! however we still managed to observe a lot ofthe island from within the jeep. it was just a shame we couldn't get out and explore a bit more. today was cloudy and hot, but westill manage to finally sun bath. just off toth shop to get some good engilish chocolate before packing and getting an early night. as we depart for koh pangang earlt tomorrow morning.
