Were still alive you'll be gald to know.......
Skydive was amazing really good views of Lake Taupo could even see both coasts, we were really lucky weather was great for it definately worth jumping from 15,000, got a peach of a video to show everyone when were home. Met up with Melissa, Matt and Rus on Thursday nite and went for a couple of drinks around Takapuna where we are all staying, Friday was big day out and was amazing around 40,000 people all jumping around going crazy to the Killers definately the best band of the day, also seen Kasabian, Muse, My Chemical Romance and John Butler Trio all really good. Was a mission to get home took us 2 hours had to catch a train then a bus but as you can imagine was mad with all the people around.
The van is gone Whey... sold it at a backpackers market on the second day to a Irish couple they promised they'd take care of it... Lost a bit of money on it due to a few problems I blame it on Jay's Off Roading, but nothing compared to if we had hire a van.
The last few days we been living it up in our own onsite caravan luxury for us, even has a telly (whats that). So much space for us after 3 months in our van living out of a bag and struggling to get dressed in the morning without knocking each other out, don't regret a minute of it though for sure the best way to travel round New Zealand.
Both have really enjoyed it here to sum it up in a few words, MOUNTAINS, WATERFALLS, lOADS OF SHEEP, UN-PREDICTABLE WEATHER, s*** ROADS, ADVENTURE SPORTS, BEER AND RUGBY. All in All an Amazing country.
Oz here we come.........
