Im a normal person get me out of here!!! What a crazy couple of weeks. We left Malaysia and arrived in Hat Yai Thailand on the 8th of October. We had planned to go out to the coast but got a suprise call from Jay's brother. After 30 minutes it was decided we were all going to Bangkok for a week...the next day! As it was a 3 day national holiday most transport options wee booked so we ended up on a coach for 15 hours, what a great way to travel...the rust bucket broke down at 2 am and we spent an hour or so not having a clue what was going on at the side of the road with our bags! Eventually another banger turned up to take us to Bangkok! What a crazy place, admittedly we did spend the week staying on Khao San Road which is packed with shops, markets, food stalls, bars etc etc etc. The 4 of us had a great week, probably drank a little too much beer (Emma had to be shipped home in a cab one night!) certinally ate too much of the great food and we even took in some cultural sites....no no you cynics not the national sport of ping pong but the amazing temples and palaces. We also had a couple of near death experiences in Tuk Tuks's, Ray and Jay had one that was doing wheelies!!! Most days we have been having massages or reflexology, costs about 2 pounds for 1 hour and our hotel had a swimming pool on the roof so we used to drag our hungover asses there occasionally! Emma has turned into posh spice this week with facials, massages, waxing and highlights not too mention the shopping (only spent about 20 pounds!). Time to move on though away from the 24 hour chaos that is Bangkok. It really is sensory overload, the smells of the food, the put put noise of the tuk tuks, the street sellers clicking their lighters, the music the singing...I could go on but basically if they rented out soundproof booths they would make a fortune! Havig trouble uploading the pictures but will do it eventually I promise. We have some great pictures of Bangkok including some of Mai Thai boxing and a very bloody match which had us screaming in our seats, it was brilliant! Little Ju also embarred hereself but you see why when we get the pictures on. Bye for now x x x x x
