Well we are now in KL. It's hot and humid (about 80% and 34-36 degree's!!!) and chaos. We are staying in China Town which is great for shopping and things to eat. Noodles or rice or rice or noodles seems to be the charm (we've eaten nothing else since we left Aus!) We have been here about 4 days (who's counting!) and were still not drinking! Our hostel is nice (if you like cold water (havent had a hot shower for over a month!) and bed bugs, we had to move rooms on the first night after being infested with giant bed bugs in the middle of the night!). What to do here in KL, well we have visited the Petronas Towers (big oil company and big sponsers of F1) (apparently you can get a 3 day pass for the Grand Prix for 50 ringget which is about 8pounds so if anyone fancy's it we'll see you in April!) The view from the tower walkway is great (and free!) they look most spectacular lit up at night but by far their best feature is the massive shopping mall underneath, Louis Vitton, Prada, Tiffany, Gucci, Marc Jacobs etc. etc. etc oh yes and Top Shop. Nevermind we dont have the money, in China Town market you can buy all the desiger names and their much cheaper down there, currently in possesion of a vintage pair of Rayban Wayfarers, an Omega watch, a Marc Jacobs bag and a Billabong pair of shorts, all for 32 pounds, most barginous as long as you cant spell!!! Jay has a rather dramatic blood infection and is now on antibiotics for his red and puss filled leg urgh! (it's really not that bad but he is of course milking it for all he can get!) No need to panic mums no amputation necessary! Tomorrow we head north to the Cameron Highlands where it's a bit cooler and they have massive tea plantations, how bloody civilized. Anyway catch up soon. We brought a mobile whilst we were here so let us know if you want the number x x x x
