Hey hey!!! Bet you wondered what we'd been upto it's been so long since an update! Well we are now in Brisbane after a fantastic few weeks in Sydney. Where do we start? Well, Emma spent 3 weeks completing her course, holed up in a hotel for 10 hours a day, everyday which was great because there were turrential rains in Sydney for a while, anyway, she is now a Master Practitioner of NLP, Master Hypnotist, Master of Time Line Therapy etc... and what an amazing time she had and several successful clients as well. Jay managed to find a Wing Chung Academy in China Town and spent his days practicing his art and his evenings (Emma's course didn't finish until late!!!) checking out the Aussie watering hole's! We had amazing luck finding an apartment and for less than the price of a hostel we had a 1 bedroom apartment at McMahons point looking across the harbour at the bridge and the opera house and a 6 minute ferry ride to Central Quay. I could sit at the dining room table and watch to see my ferry coming across the harbour, have enough time to get my stuff together and step outside to the ferry port, awesome! If anyone is going to Sydney let us know and we will give you the details as in our opinion this is the best place to stay! Emma had a day off on the 13th of June (rain stopped for 24 hours and we had glorious sunshine) and we headed off to Bondi Beach for a picnic with little Tel. Had sandwiches and beer (didn't realise this was illegal until we saw the signs as we left!) Jay turned 3* on the 20th of June and as a rather major birthday suprise his dad (who we were expecting) brought some extra hand luggage, Jay's mum Jean!!! What a suprise for both of us. We had an amazing 10 days together in Sydney and Brisbane. Jean's back home now but Ray has decided to stay for a couple of months and travel around Australia with us. Once Emma's course was finished we were able to do all the touristy things, including whale watching which was amazing. Thousands of Humpback whales are migrating north to breed and lucky for us the passed right by us, spent a couple of hours closer than we ever imagined we would get to some amazing displays from some extravert whales! Didn't take any photo's as too busy watching but check out the Australian Telegraph web page as I think there are some on there. On Jay's birthday we headed to Jordans restaurant in Darling Harbour and has the most amazing seafood dinner washed down with Australian champagne and wine, check out the cake plate!. Loving Sydney but sooo expensive and headed off to Brisbane on the 22nd of June
