# 16 - Cruzcampo (Spain) - My wife and I enjoying a well earned beer(s). Watched the changing of the guard then saw what the local arch bishops and royalty did with everyone's money in there cathedral and palace..... Buy and use gold was a common decision in both... Unfortunately the people never got to use what there money brought but what ever.

# 15 - Mahou classic (bit of a reach as slightly different to previous beer but wanted to blog....sad) - picture of me enjoying a 0.80euro beer....nice, then bought a 500ml can for .70euros....nicer - this was after a busy day of museums, great food and sangria. Plus our accommodation works out to be $70 AUD a night for two which in the soul of Madrid (pun intended the suburb we are in is called Sol= Ha or #funny) . Have been waiting to say this "Living the dream...

#14 - Mahou (Spain) - Just enjoying a beer at the bullring where surprisingly we were watching bullfighting. Nice beer, interesting sport. Don't worry vegetarians we didn't eat the meat after the bulls were killed. The withdrawals from Gaudi were taken care of with sangria and beer.

#12 & 13 - Erdinger & Bitburger (Germany) - The best beer I have had so far was the Erdinger. Enjoyed this after another Gaudi-tastic day at modernism museum - featuring work of none other than Gaudi. Then we went to Gaudi's Casa Batllo (The facade is a depiction of St George (or Jorge in local speak) killing the dragon. This was via Egyptian museum (I don't think Bek realises how many Egyptian museums we are going to see on this trip). Tomorrow off to Ma...
