Day 76 to 82
We have had our campervan for 6 nights so far and it has taken us 6 nights to get used to living in it ha,ha. We have spent the last week driving around the north Island seeing places like 90 mile beach, Kerikeri, Paihia (bay of islands), Te Puke, Rotorua and Taupo. We spent two nights in Bay of islands for Jason's Birthday where we had a meal to celebrate, was such a nice place, can't wait to upload the photo's. We were doing a lot of driving the first 3 days and had to force our self to slow down. Decided to miss out on 1 or 2 places we had planned to see originally and stay a few night in taupo instead. Found our self a great free site in Taupo which saved us a few $'s, the only problem with free sites is there is no power hook up so 2 nights was the most we could manage. Had booked to do a sky dive in Taupo and were lucky enough to get 2 beautiful days but unfortunately all sky dives were called off due to heavy winds :( so we are still yet to jump but are planning one in the south Island. To date we have done just under 2000 kilometers and are now in a little town Just before Wellington, called Porirua. We are going to take a look around Wellington tomorrow before catching our ferry to the south Island on Sunday.
