Went for a short hike with Onyx going up Bee Canyon after my meeting with LDARC. Thought this was a easy hike with Onyx but it was a hard hike. Lots of hill climbing and switch backs. Not much shade and off raiders. Took approxite 3 hours to do 5 miles. People were practicing shooting. Onyx was awesome about the gun sounds
Would have been better to start from top near Idyllwild and hike down. I will try for next time.Ran into very nice people on the trail. Maybe if we leave early Onyx might be better, but would be better with some one else
Some great views and weather was just right
Would leave in the morning for a 5 to 7 hour hike taking my time
