We took a local bus from the border of Tibet to Kathmandu, which was an interesting experience to say the least. The bus continually stopped in order to try and get more people on board or let people off. We spent three days in Lhasa, the largest city of Tibet and then travelled to the Nepalese border over the next seven days. We spent two days in Kunming and it’s by far the cleanest and most organised city we've seen so far on this trip. People are constantly sweeping the streets and cleaning the public bins and there is no smog. We spent two days walking around Nanning, soaking in the local way of life. Nanning is much like Guangzhou only with less infrastructure and a little more chaos. We got there and departed via overnight sleeper trains which housed 6 people per cabin, 3 per wall.
