After nearly 6 months of time in Europe, Canada and the USA we dove back into the developing world and crossed over into Mexico from the USA. It was a little shock to the system for us and made us realise just how comfortable we had become travelling in the wealthier countries of the world.
We entered at Tijuana, known for being a bit sketchy, as with all the Mexican border towns with the USA. We had no intention of staying there though and caught a bus straight away 90 minutes south to the coastal town of Ensenada. We decided to continue our couch surfing trend of late and were accepted into the family home of a young guy named Luis. Luis selflessly gave us so much of his time to show us around the town and bring us along to a few social events with his Mexican friends. We also had the privilege of trying fish tacos, fresh from the sea, they were delicious. It's not hard to find good street food here.
