Yes, our trip is finally winding down. Today was our last day in Brighton and our last official day of vacation in Europe. Tomorrow we take the train to London's Gatwick Hilton. This will give us one day of R & R before our flight back to Atlanta on Friday morning.

Hello friends and family!
Thanks for joining us as we plan and launch our trip through Europe. This is our "retirement" trip, but if we are really lucky, it will be just one of many trips and adventures we'll cook up in the years to come. Stan and I love to travel. Hopefully this blog will let you enjoy it along with us and also provide a bit of insight as to what we like to do and why we find travel so exciting.

You deserve all "the luck" and you and I both know it was hard work, good health habits, and great planning that got you there :) The block of flats behind you in the photo of the beach huts is Courtney Gate, where I used to live. How weird you wound up there. I worked on the Palace Pier in security and also in the arcade there. Happy trails home and I look forward to seeing you both soon. Hugs
