I have to say the journey to Chaing Mai was not quiet so pleasant as the one to Bangkok but we got there regardless and that's what counts. Ta me i ngra leis an Chaing Mai! It is such a cool city, just as interesting as Bangkok yet way more chilled. On the first day Ruth and Brid went off to do a cookery course while myself Lisbet and Deri-Dreeeee went for a gander around the city. This lead us to china town where we saw two different things that really excited us, animals and flowers. The Animals included adorable puppies, kittens and a not so adorable but very cool snake. The flowers were just flowers but lots and lots of them and there were so beautiful and colourful. I took loads of pictures which is in the Chaing Mai album. Once we met the girls we headed to the late night market. This was massive and had everything. The girls did quiet a bit of shopping and got lovely things. As difficult as it was I held back and only got a wallet and a key chain. I refused to buy all the pretty things for two reasons; firstly I need to watch my spending because the more money I have the longer I can last in south east Asia, and secondly unlike the girls who are heading home on Sunday, anything I buy I have to carry around on my back for two months, no thank you. I plan on waiting until my last night in Thailand and then I will go absolutely mad in the Bangkok markets, oh yeah!!
