Getting our taxi into the city we found that our hostel was three streets from Koh San road, amazing!
The hostel was beautiful, so clean and new, and we had a space to ourselves which was great!
After joyfully dumping our bags we went for a wander around Koh San road. It is so difficult to describe what I felt that night, everything on that street is so intense and crazy. I was immediately bombarded with such intense smells, sights and sounds. I tasted my first bit of street food, Pad Thai, and washed it down with my first bucket (literally a bucket which is filled with an entire nagging of rum and two cokes)
We were all glad to go to bed then and get some much needed sleep.
