Someday, somehow I will learn how to pronounce Chefchaouen, until ten we have named it "you know, the blue town" to anybody who asks. Leaving Fez was a relief, the atmosphere there was horrible and for the first time in morocco we felt direct hostility from males. The bus journey was around four hours and due to our Food poisoning was pretty harsh. This was quickly forgotten upon reaching chefchaouen. The town is stunning. Everything really is blue and the town had a friendly chilled vibe which was most welcoming after Fez. We stayed in hotel Barcelona which for €10 each a night gave us a room with private bathroom and cable tv, what more could a girl dream of. We are lunch in a restaurant aptly named after Aladdin's cave. The food was tasty but it quickly reminded our bodies that we had food poisoning and we spent the rest of the day in our room going through phases of hysterical laughter to miserable weeping.
