Well, I have done the temples, and have another early morning start tomorrow as I'm going to Battambang where the main attraction is a bamboo train. :)The temples were really really good, but at the moment I feel a bit templed out and feel I will dream about ornately carved lintels and giant faces in rocks tonight. I did two days which is definitely enough time to see all the major ones and more besides, though in retrospect I may have spread them over three days...

I feel like I have 27 kids and I'm leaving them all behind. I'm really quite sad - it's like leaving home again. Three weeks wasn't long enough, I only just feel like I'm settling in and starting to know the kids and work out what I'm doing. And some of the kids are only just getting used to me it seems and starting to talk to me. Hello! I went to the beach for the weekend - Sihanoukville I think it's called. We can't pronounce anything so have resorted to calling everything "Shnuckville". Before I left England I said "on no, I'm not going to go to beaches and things, I'm going to do proper travelling, none of this beach holiday malarky". It's kind of strange having a "job" again for a few weeks. It's good though as I always need to to have something to do. Today was my first official day as a teacher. It went quite well. Loads of randoms turned up to Tania and I's university class, so we had 16 students in our class, there were only four last week! I'm almost at the end of my first week at my school. It's going so fast, I can't believe I only have two weeks left here! It's definitely "holiday volunteering" as I call it as there are six volunteers here at the moment (to 27 kids) and we don't do that much teaching, plus at lunchtime they try and send us to this big mall thing for lunch (why would we want to spend $4 on pizza when we can get three portions of chicken and rice down the road for $1?). ...
