Staying in a little hostel on the outskirts of Nazca, recovering from the journey, had a barbeque and generally getting to know each other. Next day we went to see the Nazca lines, best way to see them is by plane!!,so off we went, the journey lasted about half an hour, the plane tipped from side to side, just follow the tip of the wing said the pilot,I had no option as my face was pressed against the side window!! and the vibrations came up through the bottom, the head phones didn´t do too much to reduce the screeching noise inside the plane, there were six of us including the pilot and we were all a bit green around the gills by the time we got off.
From there we went to the sand dunes so the girls could go sand boarding,I was happy to be a spectator but nobody told me I would have to go on a sand buggy first!!! Scary experience,I was sitting next to the driver who was positively wicked, very handsome but bad!! My face was like a beetroot,
cheap way of getting epidermabrasion. In between it all we went to a winery, they produced Pisco Sour in all forms,I declined the samples my head was birling enough, those who did suffered badly later in the day.
The next day we took a trip to the Ballastas Islands.
