Quick Zagreb post.
It's quite a nice city. In the old part at least. The modern part is fairly standard. Just a capital city with people walking around, shopping and going to schools and all that malarky.
We had a good walk around. Its supposed to be a city of museums, but none of the ones we saw were really all that inspiring so we didn't even bother paying for entry. The old city is very pretty. But small.
One odd thing about this city is that it appears to be full of cafes, but none of them sell food. This made finding dinner quite a task! We walked around for ages. Every single cafe was just selling drinks. Hundreds of em! We eventually found a place to eat near our hostel though. Pizza and pasta, the usual story. Though I could've eaten in a nicer place. Sadly it had no veggie options.
So that's about it. Not much to say. Apart from the hostel. Possibly one of the nicer hostels we've been to. Very friendly staff and very possibly a great party atmosphere. The room was lovely and so were the toilets. Shame we had to leave at 5:00 on the first morning!
