Hola amigos! I've been living and working in Barcelona for almost a month! Can't believe time has gone by so quickly!! Here are some of the hi-lights: 1. Spanish speaking skills improving (slowly) 2. Picasso Museum is amazing!! I especially enjoyed his work from the Paris period. 3. Montjuic is amazing...every weekend they have a lights/fountain show to music...choreographed quite well and very beautiful! 4. The Gothic quarter of the city is surreal for an American like me who hasn't seen any buildings more than 200 years old!! Tiny streets and scary alleys...it's awesome! 5. Fiesta de la Mercé was incredible...the ULTIMATE party for anyone who likes lots of people, free music, parades, fireworks, and lots of other fun things.
