On our descent to Qatar I was amazed at the pearly White buildings and fascinating skyline it was obvious that this country had plenty of money.
As we stepped off the plane we were greeted with a beautiful sunrise. It was a deep orange colour and powerful, I was enjoying this so much that I was reluctant to get on the bus to take us to the terminal.
Once inside the terminal it was chaotic, with wealthy business men checking their laptops which prompted me to check the wifi!! Much to my surprise wifi was free throughout, result.
We had a two hour wait to then check in for our connection.
I could see dani was exhausted as was myself, dani was tetchy and demanded that we have a ciggy.
The smoking room was disgusting the walls were yellow and I had to chuckle as I glanced up at the CCTV camera this was worse!! I can't imagine the observer could see through the plume of smoke within or the nicotine stained lens. This room definitely made me wanna give up!!
That time had come, flight to Bangkok QR002 was ready for boarding!
Once on board we found our seats and was not pleased with their location, one row of seats separated us from first class. We were in sniffing distance of those fat cats we had previously seen in Qatar, with their lay down seats and free champagne. it made our seats look cramped and very cheap indeed!
The inflight entertainment was awesome. The choice of films was larger than Rich Lennox DVD collection, with all these choices I decided that Inception was the one for me.
After seven hours, and a saturday night take out meal of kofte kebab we were on our descent to BKK airport. The excitement was too much!! We finally made.
