Hi one and all. Since my last blog I have gone through all of Ecuador, most of Peru (twice!) and some of Bolivia. After all that travelling (and avoiding the earthquakeby 300km) , Im in big need of a break so Im here in Quito, waiting to fly out to the Galapagos tomorrow. Will be out of touch for 10 days, but will return with a whole wealth of photos. Hope all is well. Ja

How do all. After a relaxing and crazy week and a half in Panama (cheers Mike), its back onto the backpacker lifestyle, cold showers, s*** burgers etc. Flew into the second highest Capital in the world (quite an experience in itself), and now gonna head through the delights of Ecuador on my way down to Peru. After rushing through Costa Rica (would recommend to any nature lover), Ive stopped over at a cheap traveller island retreat in Panama before enjoying the high life in Panama city for a bit and then heading to deepest darkest south america!!! Hi to one and all. After finishing my tour of Belize (Caye Caulker), I have been to Tikal, Firma Ixobel, Antigua, Lake Atitlan and back to Antigua in Guatemala. Despite guns being everywhere (to protect the tourists), I havent felt unsafe at all, and its my favourite country so far. Its rainy season over all Central America so I havent seen the sun for a while, but theres much more to life than a beach as you can see from the pix. Currently blazing through Co...
