Took train to Venice today. Nearly got fined for not getting ticket validated, didn't know what we were doing to be honest & not speaking the language was a real hassle.But wow, what an amazing place! Had lunch in St Mark's square. Lot's of photographs taken. Took a ride on a water taxi. Purchased some souvenirs. Back to Padova & the hotel now.... Skint
