Myself and a group of friends arrived at Glastonbury festival in mid afternoon on Thursday 26th June.In typical Glastonbury fashion the rain started later that evening but by then we had already drank enough Brother's pear cider in the Jazz World field for it not to dampen our spirits, even though we got completely soaked through as we walked through all the festival stalls and activities.

After a hard evening of drinking on Thursday we were ready for the music to get started on the Friday morning, the Fun Loving Criminals and Kings of Leon were the acts that stood out for me. We also had plenty of time to sit in the cabaret tent and listen to the comedy acts.Other acts we caught throughout the festival included Duffy, Mark Ronson, The Proclaimers (who were extremely entertaining and good fun!), and to end the festival the Verve!

Once the Verve had finished on Sunday night it was time for us to leave, we had a long drive back to London, once we had eventually exited the field of parked cars!

We arrived back in London at 5am on Monday 30th June, my flight to Beijing is at 16:00 the same day and it's from the infamous Heathrow terminal 5.
