The next three days were spent relaxing, some shopping, walking a lot along the beach, finishing Karl and almost reading Winston's pictures!
The group of people at Frendz were another fun bunch, we took Kirsty and a chosen few to Puka beach for sunset and it was as beautiful as ever. We spent the day with Ally and Jeff on their day off, chatting, watching the dragon boat festival opening ceremony and then they took us (and Derek and Tim) to a local fish market. You buy the fish and then get it cooked in the nearby stalls. It was such fun and a delicious experience. We all stank of garlic and had fishy fingers by the end of the meal.
Kirsty and I were quite tired so went back at 1:00AM, despite Tim's abuse about sand, showers and lady parts - don't ask. James was in a drunken rampage and stayed out until late. Luckily he came back when he did because Tim got a little beating at 5:00AM (Bart had this the year before) Kirsty and I told James we were safer than him. But when he says things he means it.
We watched some of the dragon boat racing and I think Kirsty won the overall betting score.
On our last night we made friends with a charming local ladyboy and danced the night away fillipino style (so slightly gay) Derek pulled out some 'sick' Cali moves, but his voice was much more of a success when we were singing in the trike home, along with Brian who demonstrated a 'Mamma Mia' sing-a-long word perfect!
The other Irish boys had some tales from last night and when we saw them at 15:00 they hadn't been to bed, were still drinking, and Robbie (the rapper) had crashed his quad bike within 10 seconds of their trip - such gas!
Kirsty and I proved how awesome we are at pool although Tim was slightly better and Robbie was great!
It was another fun few days on Borocay island, and so great to see the Frendz staff, Ally and the new addition Tito.
We made it to the other beach this time, but the wind wasn't strong so we only saw two kite surfers. I am sure we will come back another day, but I have promised Dennis a pair of real Ray Bans, so maybe we won't be able to afford it!
