Arrived in Airlie beach, known as the gateway to the Whitsunday islands. Staying at Koalas beach resort, where our friend Vicky is working.

In Brisbane at the moment, been here for just under a week! Its basically just another big ciity but been on a few good nights out here! There are brilliant shops here, lots of pubs and bars on the streets, very chilled out relaxed place. Nice man made beach here too, not massive but good when we get that beach craving! Down by the river looks gorgeous all lit up at night, i think the nicest part is called kangaroo point which makes it even better!

Wow, its brilliant here!! A gorgeous beach, cheap surf lessons, loads of bars and restaurants everywhere! Quite touristy but its nice, lots of souvenir shops! staying in a cool old converted motel so got out own kitchen, dining area and tv room! also, ensuite in our room too! such luxury!
