Byron Bay is gorgeous! A really relaxed town, so many surf shops (and lots of sales on), restaurants, cafes! It is also extremely hot here, spent today on a beach, not a cloud in the sky! We could actually here our skin sizzling...will update more when we've done more than sunbathe! Love it here!!! We have hired boogie boards, which are great fun especially as the waves are really good for learning on, its judt like usual surfing but lying down on a half board. Got up very early one morning to take the trip up to the Byron lighthouse to watch the sun rise at Australia's most easterly point, it was really beautiful and we realised that we had never actually seen the sun rise before, from dark to light! really amazing!
