This is finally happening! I have quit my job, purchased a Round-the-World ticket, and will be gone for a year. I've been dreaming of doing this for at least 20 years, and I've finally saved up the money after several years of scrimping, and mustered up the courage, to abandon everything and everyone I know, to venture off into the unknown.

Where will I go? I don't know for sure. A few places I know for sure. The beaches of Thailand. The temples of Angkor Wat. Dine on some fried crickets on the streets of Singapore. The Great Wall of China may be looming near. Finally visit Greece and stroll up to Croatia for their fabulous national parks and beaches. Scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

I'm going to miss my friends and family while I'm gone. I won't miss the job, but will definitely miss my coworkers.
