Wow!! Where to begin!!

Flight was good, had some delicious Indian food and watched some movies. Had some delightful (input sarcasm) children in front of us!! But had a lovely man next to me who gave us valuable advice about taxis, food, money and well being white!
The views from the window were spectacular as we saw the sunrise over India, then arrived safely in Delhi.

As soon as we left the airport the heat just hit us, you would never know its February. Then as we got into the taxi Chris is desperately searching for his seatbelt, but I tried to explain I don't think it works that way out here - and boy was I right!! Motorbikes everywhere, people just wonder out into the road without a care in the world, lanes and indicators are useless but it was soo fun. We were both speechless - didn't know where to look. Every couple of miles there were stalls selling ice cream and drinks, and donkeys carrying carts that had 20 people on them! The camera was just not quick enough for my finger!!

The taxi driver then pulls up to the side of the road and indicates this is it, there was not quite a smile on my face but rather me looking at Chris with a dash of concern ha ha ha once we walked down a couple of roads and got stared at some more with one person whispering 'beautiful' in my ear .....eugh! We found it! The staff are so welcoming, the hotel and room is clean and colour coordinated :) so were now sitting having some bottled water in the lounge about to pop out for a wonder before we have a meal with our group tonight.
